Academy for Clinical Excellence

The mission of the Academy for Clinical Excellence is to provide evidence-based, innovative best practices, tools, and support as well as cultivate academic relationships to ensure well educated, professional, clinically competent staff to provide exceptional care to our patients.

The Academy for Clinical Excellence provides continuing clinical education throughout St. David's HealthCare through a variety of classes aimed at professional growth and development. Most courses are free to St. David's HealthCare employees with many approved for continuing education credit.

American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center

Authorized Provider of CPR and ECC CoursesSt. David's Institute for Learning is an American Heart Association Training Center with training sites and instructors throughout the St. David's HealthCare. The AHA Training Center provides ongoing BLS, ACLS and PALS classes rotating to all hospital locations.
