HealthStream Learning Center

Healthstream is your HCA online education resource. All classes attended through St David's HealthCare-sponsored programs are tracked through HealthStream and available for review at any time. In addition, HealthStream offers a variety of continuing education courses that may be of interest.

You will need your HCA Universal User ID (3-4 ID) in order to log onto HealthStream. If you do not know your Universal ID, click HERE to obtain it. When logging in to HealthStream, use your 3-4 ID for both the User ID and Password entries. IMPORTANT!: Your password is case sensitive, so if you can't log in with your 3-4 in CAPITALS, try lower case. Password entries. To log onto HealthStream click the icon below:

Important Login Information

Important Login Information

The first time you log in to Healthstream, the system will run a check on your browser (Internet Explorer) to see if you have everything you need to run Healthstream courses. You may also run a check NOW by clicking here: HEALTHSTREAM BROWSER CHECK.

  • If you are using an SDH PC and you are are missing any items you must contact your IS department to have them add them, as you will not have administrative access to your machine.
  • If you are at home you may make changes yourself, including downloading plugins such as Adobe Acrobate and Macromedia Flash and turning off the pop-up blocker(s).
  • You may also run this browser check after logging into Healthstream by clicking the My Profile tab.

Upon logging in for the first time, click the MY PROFILE tab and update Manage Account Information and Manage Discipline and License Information. This is important as it will often affect which courses you can register for and whether courses with CE credit will be awarded to you.
